CHAD STILL HUNGRY

CHAD DOBACK...
I’m Chad. I’ve always been curious about how people live.
I plan my trips heavily so I can have freedom once I’m there. I like knowing what matters in a place ahead of time, but I don’t treat it like a checklist. I’ll hit some of the known spots, skip others, and adjust based on what actually feels worth it once I’m in it.
I’m into places that feel like themselves. Busy cities, quieter spots, long-standing places that people return to without thinking. I like sitting somewhere, watching how things move, and noticing what people are actually there for.
Food is a big part of it, but it’s not the whole thing. It’s just how I get into a place. From there, it’s everything else. The routines, the energy, the details most people miss, and the things that actually stay with you after you leave.
I don’t try to force everything into one trip. I move with some pace, take things in, and if something stands out, I spend time with it. That’s usually what ends up being worth remembering and worth sharing.
That’s also how I approach documenting it. I pay attention to what naturally draws people in, what makes a place, hotel, or experience feel distinct, and how to show it in a way that feels real and worth experiencing.
